President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and Commissioner Thyssen about European Junior Enterprises
In 2017, the Junior Enterprise concept will turn 50 years old. At the same time, JADE – the European Confederation of Junior Enterprises – will turn 25 years old. During all these years JADE has been working to develop a more entrepreneurial Europe by developing and supporting Junior Enterprises in now 14 countries, promoting the concept as a best practice in student entrepreneurship education.
Following the recent endorsements of the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schultz, and of the President of the Committee of the Regions, Markku Markkula, we have now the honor of having been endorsed as well by the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker:
Another great support for the work of Europe’s Junior Entrepreneurs is stated by Marianne Thyssen, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility:
We would like to thank all our stakeholders who support us in order to continue to impact Europe by developing entrepreneurial skills of students. Together we will build the future by growing employability and the skills that Europe needs!
