Anniversary Day, 4th October 2007

This year, JADE is going to celebrate two crucial milestones in its history, the 40th anniversary of the Junior Enterprise concept and the 15th anniversary of JADE as the European umbrella organisation. Mr. Günter Verheugen kindly supports us in our anniversary event and took over the patronage for the JADE Anniversary Day in October.

40 years Junior Enterprise Concept

The 40th Anniversary of the Junior Enterprise Concept, an important date in the history of the network. With the foundation of the first Junior Enterprise in 1967 in Paris/France a unique success story started.
In the following years, thousands of students and young entrepreneurs have been impressed by the idea of linking their theoretical knowledge to a practical work and founding an own Junior Enterprise. Since that date more than 400 Junior Enterprises have been found all over the world, 225 of them in Europe.

15 years JADE

The 15th Anniversary of the European Confederation of Junior Enterprises, called JADE is the second milestone in 2007. JADE was found in 1992 as a non-profit and non-political organisation to promote entrepreneurship among students. As the European umbrella organisation JADE is promoting the Junior Enterprise Concept to third parties, ensuring constant quality of its members and offering a platform for knowledge transfer. JADE is proud to represent the biggest network of Junior Entrepreneurs worldwide with more than 20,000 students in 13 countries.

To celebrate these milestones and to step into the next 10, 20 and 30 years of successful work, JADE would invite you to the “JADE Anniversary Day” on the 4th of October 2007 in Brussels. Therefore we invite:
