In 2017 JADE is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. As every year JADE Team organizes an event that gathers and connect the European Junior Enterprise network in Brussels. In the next year, JADE Spring Conference will take place from March 2nd to the 5th 2017.At the moment, JADE Team is looking for 4 skilled and motivated Junior Entrepreneurs that will work in the Project Team of the event.

What is the Project Team?
The JADE Spring Conference Project Team is made up by the first 4 Staff members that will be recruited in November. The Project Team will be composed of a Fundraising Manager, 2 Communication Managers and a Logistics Manager.

Can you explain to me what are the main tasks of each position?

  • Fundraising Manager
    This person will be in charge of contacting companies that can provide services or goodies for the event. During the event, he or she will be the main contact person for the corporate representatives.
    Requirements: Interest in sales
  • Communication Manager
    These people will be in charge of promoting the event on our social media, website as well as creating content.
    Requirements: social media knowledge, good knowledge of MS Office. Ideally WordPress experience
  • Logistics Manager
    This person will help in all the logistical aspects of the event. Both for researching possible venues for the event, as well as creating materials.
    Requirements: Organizational skills

From when to when do I have to work?
The Project team will be in office from December 6th 2016 until March 10th 2017. At the beginning of the mandate, you will work remotely via Skype work sessions and E-Mail communication.

It’s mandatory for all the members of the Project Team to come to Brussels 10 days to 1 week before the event to be trained and work on the final preparation of the event. For this period you will be hosted in the JADE Headquarters in Brussels. During the event, you will work as part of the Staff. During your entire time here, your accommodation and food will be covered.

What do I get out of this experience?
Being part of the Project Team is an enriching experience. You will be working in an international team and get valuable insights behind the scenes of a large scale event. You get the chance to see how JADE as an international organization is working to connect Junior Entrepreneurs from all over Europe, Tunisia and Brazil. Moreover, you will be able to participate in the event for free!
