Background
Israel, known as the “start-up nation” provides a unique culture and business climate. In proportion to its population, Israel has the largest number of startup companies in the world, with 3,850 companies mostly in the hi-tech industry, and is ranked #2 in the world for venture capital funds. In terms of entrepreneurs, Israel has the third highest rate of entrepreneurship in the world, including the highest rate among women and people over 55.
IBW – International Business Week
IBW – International Business Week is perfect for anyone who is interested in entrepreneurship. IBW provides those who are interested in creating a business venture with the right tools to do so. IBW gives the opportunity to experience the business and culture of Israel through workshops, lectures, networking, excursions and more.
Goal
When participants return to their home countries, they will have an increased understanding of the current Israeli economy and business practices, opportunities for international companies / investors, and will have met contacts to reach their career goals. IBW also hopes to provide an understanding of Israeli culture and business from other perspectives.
Format
Expert lecturers in their respective industries, visiting Israeli companies, case studies, workshops, fieldtrips, and more will be given throughout IBW’s weeklong program. Each day has a packed schedule including learning new information and exploring Israeli business and culture.
Accommodations, transportations, meals and activities will all be provided for your comfort.
