Throughout the years, it has been recognized more and more widely that Junior Enterprises are a best practice in fostering student entrepreneurship and enabling students to develop the right set of skills that they will need in their professional life. A study from the European Commission showed that Alumni of the Junior Enterprise network who started their company had an annual turnover growth of 167% compared to 86% for the control group. And 78% find a job right after graduating compared to 59% on average.
After already been endorsed this year by the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schultz and by the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, we are now honored to receive a new endorsement by Commissioner for Education, Tibor Navracsics:
We need a more entrepreneurial Europe and young people to develop the right skills that will serve them throughout theirs lives and Junior Enterprises are a perfect tool for this purpose. Together we will build the future by growing employability and co-create the future of Europe!
