[2007-12-05] CEJE National Meeting, November 22th-24th, Barcelona

From 22nd to 24th November 2007 we celebrated in Barcelona the XXIV Spanish National Meeting of Junior Enterprises organised by JEF (Jove Empresa Fabra). It was a great event which gathered together more than 125 students from all over Spain.
The meeting started on 22nd November with the Inauguration in the famous building PRBB, situated near the beach. The opening ceremony continued with a cocktail in the same building. The evening ended in SHOKO, a well-known disco in Barcelona.
The second day, like during all meetings, was the workshop’s day. There were two workshop sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon, where Junior Entrepreneurs had the possibility to choose between three workshops offered by such companies as Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers or Infojobs and as well by the special guest and Meeting’s Godfather Cesar Tauste. Everybody had also chance to attend the conference.
Changing the subject to food, this day we had lunch in Ginos at the Olimpic Port of Barcelona, and dinner in a restaurant called 22 Alfa. After the dinner we had a party at the same place. It was a special night; we called it Jedi’s night because this JE sponsored the evening.
The 24th November was a busy, working day: the new board of CEJE was elected, we voted on the entry of a new JE, AtisSolution, and had the discussion about CEJE’s internal issues. We had lunch in Miravent, a restaurant near the beach specializing in Mediterranean Spanish food.
In the evening we celebrated the Gala Dinner at the “Torre de la L’Hereu”, an old mansion with a redesigned interior and a wonderful patio. Finally, the Elefant disco, in upper Barcelona, Pedralbes, was waiting for us to end this meeting in an unforgettable way.

[2007-12-05] BDSU National Meeting, November 22th-25th, Munich

On Thursday 22nd of November a nation-wide meeting started - the BDSU Anniversary Congress in Munich. This meeting once again provided the framework for the advancement of the association-internal structures and processes and in addition filled the network with live.
For this special event more than 350 consultants, in daily live spread over the whole German territory, travelled to Bavaria. A visit to the new home of the most famous football clubs in Munich and a party above the roofs of the city opened up the four days lasting event. Friday was mainly embossed by the presentation of goals each ExBo-member is working on to achieve. Later the slogan “laptop meets Lederhosn” stood on top of the party when the BDSU Congress was invited to BCG. Especially the Saturday of this winters meeting was focused on a variety of corporate contacts. In exciting workshops, the participating student consultants were able to obtain close contact to established companies. This mutual acquaintance was further intensified on the ensuing Company Contact Fair. The celebrations on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the BDSU reached their height with a glittering gala dinner on Saturday evening. Speeches and humorous Retrospectives on the successful time since the founding rounded off the evening. A change in the ExBo as well as internal strategic issues built the centre of Sunday’s conversations.
Thanks to its members, its international network and well-known enterprises, the BDSU has continually been evolving in the bygone years. An end of this success story – unimaginable!
